A friend of mine, saw my little wooden Reinau amp, and asked me do make his life easier with his very heavy Super Reverb. It was too high for him to lift in a straight arm, so we would have to stretch his arm for some weeks, or build another cabinet. He chose the last.... At the same time we got a 100W 4ohm Weber grey wolf for it, as he also wanted to cut the extreme treble this amp has.
He got it all....even his name as intarsia flamed maple

Re: Super reverb for old men

Re: Super reverb for old men
Glad you like it...The owner is extremely happy.
I'm sorry that I didn't take pictures for a bauthread, but it's very similar to my thread in "Boxenbau" Handbuilt 5E3 NO tweed deluxe.
In case any of you own a super reverb and want to go for the "grand daddy" design, I do have the basic plans available, and I can also provide some detailshots!...but remember, I'm a cheater, I have an awesome CNC in the garage, and a son that can run it, so the sides with the fingerjoints are done on that. I only need to correct the corners and remove the radius from the 2mm mill.
