New Dagonfly Bass and demo's
Hi All Here's a link for some new demo's for my Dragonfly and TC model. At the end of the Dragonclip, there's a glimse of the new Dragonfly Shortscale Bass. I would love to show you the building process, but have gotten a problem with Photobucket, which I used to use for links! What website are you ...

Re: Twin Reverb new box new sound
Thanks! but besides the new look, the sound becomes a lot more "warm", so I am expecting a better sound of my "Shadows" performances:)

Re: Cicada
Thanks Guys I really like the Kinman Pickups. I use his latest Hank Marvin pickups, on my first handbuilt Classic, for Shadows music, and for the rest I use his humbuckers HX paf+ & paf astound. Thats the best sounding pickups for my taste. The are mounted in my favorite gig guitar "The Eruption" ht...
Re: Cicada
Yes Beate, that's the same one! I've had it hanging, unfinished, on the wall for a long time. I wanted to be able to blend the two pickups fluently, but the the first blend pots I found, didn't do the job, and I didn't want to drill the pot-holes before I had tested what I wanted to achieve. Then so...
Re: Cicada
Took it for a gig last night....the sound is very crisp and clear, and the setup with the pickups and the Bourns blendpot works perfect. I will replace some of the toggleswitches, on my guitars, with these pots.

Neck jig for limited space
I just don't have space enough in my workshop, so I have set up a small dedicated table/drawer with a perfect hight for fretting and electronics.. The top is actual too small, but I can't make it bigger because of two doors. I have always been afraid to drop a guitar on the floor by accident. I "kin...

I did a build for the bassman in my band back in 2009, but at that time I did it the easy way....built the body, and bought a Fender replacement neck. The neck has slowly been bend during the years, and by inspection, I realized, that an attempt to crank it back with the truss would be a bad idea. S...

My P-T model
Quite a few builders, new as old, contact me, as they find out that I stock quite a few things for my own builds. I was asked for a piece of wood for a teletype body, as he already had a neck. I suggested a nice ,one piece, Khaya which he liked. But looking around among guitars and wood, the questio...

Re: Dust Collector/Cyclone
Here's the way I built it! I saw these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzebi8lan0o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Feqih_7Evh0 But decided to try to avoid the inside "dustshelf" that the guy has on his, so I have the cyclone chamber further in, and the outlet holes flush with the wall. I simply made...

Dust Collector/Cyclone
I ran into one of the many videos on YouTube, who shows how to build a dust cyclone. Why not! it works great! no more dirty filters in my shop-vac http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h350/ppguitars/Screen%20shot%202015-02-10%20at%201.49.42%20PM_zpsljrwluoh.png http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h35...

Sketching in Photoshop for an upcoming Pedersen Thinline Broadcaster model, in woods that are available in stock. I'm laminating necks to match each type, and selecting body wood too! Decision NOT easy, which one to go for ???? http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h350/ppguitars/Rosewood_zps9e12662a....

5E3 Super Deluxe Cabinets
Long story short.... Ordered a handbuilt 5E3 amp with NOS tubes, from a expert-builder of these things, but told him that I wouldn't have the tweed cab, he normally uses....I wanted to build my own "Granny's Cab". When he saw my Photoshop mock-ups, he wanted one too. He is a guitarist, and a nerd wi...

Re: Eye Of The Storm
It was done by hammer, as the fretboard is compound, so that would only leave me with 1st, 12th and 24th for pressing

Re: Cicada
The procedure of the woodprep are the same as you all are familiar with, except we use our CNC as a 100% straight planer. We all know how difficult it is to get rid of a curve in a board. We use a 30mm planer bit for that, and just run it manually from the keyboard. We have the luxury of 2 big proff...

Cutting is fast....its all the drawings in CAD that takes the time, and also the rigs for fixing the pieces...BUT you will do things, you never dreamt on doing. http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h350/ppguitars/Screenshot2013-05-12at115015AM_zpsc4ed79b8.png Top now sanded http://i1105.photobucket.c...
