Black burned oak table

Just finished a small table in the black oak we are using for the "Eruption". 2 coats of truoil. It looks promising for the guitar. I's like working in a 2" biscuit!!!

...haven't tasted it, but been close to try....the smell is wine cask chocolate coffee like....very heavy and sweet....actually the shop stinks! Working on it leaves a ton of black sticky powder. We might try a couple more guitar bodies in it, but then it will be use for firewood.
