DO IT YOURSELF guitar stand
I needed some guitar stands that had to be different, as the standard chinese conflicted with my output jacks, so we made a few up on the fly...on the CNC!
feel free to use it for your own private projects!
You can make it with whatever material you want, and customize hight and width of the lower claws to fit your axe...
It's easy to transport and is very stable...
Bon appetit!

Re: DO IT YOURSELF guitar stand
I got it too, thanks a lot.
I think I'll give it a try with some of my scrap wood

Re: DO IT YOURSELF guitar stand
Its a smart construction, thank you!,....maybe the Joint on the "Top" of the Side pieces could be open.
I think this would be easier to build, and to put the pieces together.

Re: DO IT YOURSELF guitar stand
Hi Peder,
nice idea, thanks a lot!
By the way, you will never have trouble with these stands, concerning the output jacks or irregular body forms:
(Only, if you don't know them or if you seek some commercial products anyway )
Best regards,
Philip

Re: DO IT YOURSELF guitar stand
Thanks Philip, I know these stands, and they would work, but my problem was I needed mine on a sunday, so we brainstormed a bit, and drew this right on the CNC computer, and they worked so well, that I dumped all the flimsy Chinese things. They are also pretty easy for traveling. Done in some nice wood, they look like a fortune, but black MDF is pretty cool too, and you give it a varnish for a gloss
