Coole Decke, ist das verpilzter Ahorn?
Prima Pickups, passen mMn außerordentlich gut in die Form... Und ein phallisches Horn
Die Kopfplatte ist nicht so meins, wirkt etwas gedrungen. Wird durch den großen Abstand von Nullbund und Saitenführung noch verstärkt finde ich.

so unterschiedlich sind die Geschmäcker. Mir gefällt die Kopfplatte sehr gut - nicht
so ein riesen Paddel...
Sehr schöne Decke, stimmige Holzkombination - sehr lecker!

Rinaldis Custom Basses headstock design:
The most untraditional headstock design is none at all. This is done by mounting tuners on the body or more commonly using the so called headless bridge & or single bridge tuners. The main reason for this design is sonic: the headstock mass influences tone & sustain unevenly up & down the fingerboard. The reasons for this are mostly because the headstock is an isolated center of mass at the end of the neck, causing the neck to vibrate inconsistently at different frequencies & as the strings are fretted to various lengths. By doing away with the headstock altogether this complex interaction is greatly simplified, leading to a more consistent tone & sustain. Some benefits of headless necks can be achieved by designing a conventional headstock as light & short as possible. Keep in mind that my headstock was designed to achieve this goal.

Pickup Mounting System
"The Difference"
Items you won’t readily see on my basses are the threaded screw inserts. Each of the pickups is secured to the body via a stainless steel-threaded insert. These inserts provide the ability to raise and lower a pickup millions of times over the years (not that you’d want to) and prevent the screw from stripping or popping out. The inserts also allow me to mount the pickup securely to the body, improving the tone quality of the bass.

Hi,

the foam underneath the Pickup wouldnt be my way. The foam will
collapse after a while. (faster on woods with volatile Oils) It is not
funny to remove "molten" sticky foam. Ugh!
Another idea to replace the springs is to mount a peace of silicone hose
over the screws. (model aircraft hose for gas) This is much more durable.
